Sant Roc School in Olot. Primary and nursery school. Competition 1st PRIZE

The project in Olot – replacement of the entire existing school – is realized with a building typology based on full and empty spaces, with small courtyards which allow the necessary cross-ventilation and lighting.

We have improved the existing urban conditions, widening accesses and improving connections with nearby public facilities. The use of bricks which match the colour of the surrounding land and the low overall height soften the presence of the buildings in an area framed by the local landscape.
