The volumetric proposal follows the conditions defined in the PGM urban planning regulations (urban key 13a) and leaves open the possibility that by means of a Detailed Study it is possible to intervene in the interior of the block in a unitary way. The proposal is necessarily coherent in the current time and during the time it will take for the overall volumetry of the island to reach the Cerdà morphology, with a built-up crown and an interior with a landscaped roof.

The solution of the first floor, which finally establishes the relationship between the user and the city. Priority has been given to permeability and flexibility of uses, making possible the simultaneity of uses in a single area. On the other hand, access to the interior landscaped roof, has its use limited to the criteria of the possible users of the center, so that it is intended to be visitable but initially not part of the network of urban public spaces. Given its location in P1, it could perhaps cause noise and privacy inconveniences to the rest of the island’s neighbors.

The program is solved in a single volume, compact and energy efficient, with the relevant and appropriate gauges to the environment. In its interior, the development of sports activities with their relevant heights in all of its surfaces is very rigorously valued: Artistic gymnastics from 6.5 m, 4 m in sports activity rooms and table tennis and 4 m in the archery room. In the PAV3 courts, it establishes a court height of 7m clear. The layout of the program of all the rooms in a north-south direction guarantees the best natural lighting given their depth (25 m) and their passive climate regulation, by means of a facade with dynamic climatic behavior, depending on the seasonality and the needs of use.
