Damià Huguet High School

The building is situated on a small plot located on the outskirts of the town of Campos on the island of Mallorca. The trapezoidal shape of the plot marks the layout of the building mass and its specific program.

A dual scale appreciation is established; a larger scale, more distant, perceived on the appraoch to the building from the village, through a horizontal composition analogous to the existing stone walls and a second smaller scale, related to the recreational area of the site, at the user’s level, with the body of the workshops producing the porches needed in the playground.
