Building of 56 public apartments and parking in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. Competition 1st PRIZE

The building is envisaged as a neutral construction in the new extension to the outskirts of the town of Sant Sadurni d’Anoia in the Alt Penedés district.
A group of 56 dwellings is proposed in a linear building which follows the alignment of the street on the north façade, and which breaks up on the south façade so that open courtyards appear which allow all the dwellings to enjoy circulating air and favourable orientation.
The housing, compact and flexible; compact in the grouping of the dwellings around the access nuclei, with the object of minimizing the areas of shared space, as well as the common use of technical components, so allowing the standardization of construction systems and a high level of energy control.
